What I mean for "dated plate" is exactly that. The plate has the year stamped into the plate.
I.E 63, 62, 61, 60, 59 etc.

With the plate that you run the '77, is that the original plate that came on the car? Is this how you know the year the plate was made?

I'm a little confused now about this, as the D.O.L web site only implies "vintage Plates" as the ones that have the year stamped on them.
I.E. you have a 1963 Impala and you restore a set of 63 date stamped plates to run on it.

Please let me know, as I have other cars that I might want to go the "vintage plate" route as well.
