That is not correct. Mobil 1 15W50 has 0.1 ZDDP. Brad Penn has 0.1 to 1.0 ZDDP. See the top of page 2 here:

The guys who run Mobil 1 should look into the ZDDP levels - they cut this out a few years ago because it was not compatible with catalytic converters. You need the lubrication from the ZDDP for your valve train on the older engines hence the Brad Penn or other oils with ZDDP.

Run what you want - its your car.
