My oil pressure gets down to 1.2-1.5 bar at idle when it's over say 100 degrees out. That I'm not liking, but I know it shouldn't really be an issue as there's no load. Just hate thinking a 50 weight being so low.
Hi Tippy, my newly rebuilt engine used to peg also with Bradd Pen 20/50. This year I started using Shell Rotella 15/40 and the guage is back to normal, or should I say it reads as when the stock engine configuration was in the car. The Rotella being 1/2 the price is also a bonus. Philip
