I've said it before and repeat:
The only reason TurboKraft got into manufacturing half-bay intercoolers is because Garretson's fabricator retired and isn't making them any longer.

Full respect to Garretson, their intercooler was the best bolt-on intercooler I'd tested. The longneck version was better still, huge improvement in throttle response and drivability.

They kept their core source a secret, and it took a while to find a core that was at least as efficient as theirs. They truly did their homework, in a time before easy digital datalogging, and their product worked.
