Time for a bump and a request.............................

I just joined PCA (again) and hope fellow Sonderwunsch Flachbau and 505/506 owners do the same, that is if you're not already members.

My reasoning? Twofold actually. First, let's face it, the Porsche Club of America (PCA) has the database fortitude to provide a database to store specific vehicle information in a Registry. The more Factory Slant PCA members the more clout we have to establish said registry. Since the PCA now offers support for Porsche enthusiasts who may or may not own a Porsche, the more enthusiasts that pressure the PCA, the better. I will post the contact for the PCA's Registry "guru" if you guys/gals think may work.

Secondly, I am getting a bit overwhelmed by PM's from well-intentioned enthusiasts requesting more info on these cars. Well, what started out as a hobby when I purchased Sonderwunsch back in '98, is cutting in on my personal time.
I see a trend developing where these cars may be changing hands and new owners with questions may be contacting us. Why not have a permanent database where this information can be stored. Personal web sites are all well and good, and I applaud everyone's effects in that regard, but if the individual's web site is not maintained every year, and god forbid, something happens to that individual, the web site will be lost forever.

Kycarguy 935, Bluebox and other Sonderwunsch & 505/506/930SE historians, what do you think?
