I run my 79 930 turbo all the time on track doing DE days and open track days and have no issues at all with the stock 930 brakes. I removed the backing plates to get more air to them and then added cooling ducts from AJUSA and this helped keep them cool.

The only change I would recommend is to stay away from cross drilled front rotors and replace them with slotted rotors. Otherwise you will eventually get cracking propagating thru the cross drilled holes and the slotted rotors don't have this issue.

1979 930 Turbo....3.4L, 7.5to1 comp, SC cams, B&B intercooler, Snow Perf water/meth injection, Rarlyl8 headers, Garret GTX turbo, 36mm ported intakes, Innovate Auxbox/LM-1, custom Manually Adjustable wastegate housing (0.8-1.1bar),--running 0.7bar max
