But the MAF is at least installed in a straight section of tubing.

Not arguing that they're designed for blow-through (unlike most MAFs), just that straight-ish tubing is scarce on a 930, really only on the intake side.

I can see an air recirculation plenum, or the turbocharger's steel 2.75" intake tube, being modified to take a MAF.
Will it work any better than other VE-based tuning systems out there?
Only testing will confirm.
