When working for my 928 race car I have been thinking of alteration of weight distribution towards the rear axle to have rather 55/45 for the rear than 50/50.

Therefore I got crazy idea :
-to swap complete engine water cooler system with electric fans to the rear of the car: intake from rear windows and through door sides, exit the air from rear end
-to locate air intercooler to front instead of engine cooling
-rotate plenum and maf 180 degrees towards the front
-put two turbos to front corners for a short air tube distance from plenum to minimize lag.

Also I got grazy idea to use automatic transaxle with manual gear box and move engine rearwards (obviously this will cause fire wall alteration and or movement to rear), but this is worth research I think.
