So for clarification regarding boxed rockers, the fact that a box rocker does not have "a black cap towards the rear for the jack: is not an true indicator that a car having such is not factory, be it a Slantnose or otherwise. It is misinformation thanks to the internet and merely an assumption.

I say this having owned, serviced, and looked at many factory cars with box rockers that don't have the hole for the jack. Yes, some are cheap stampings that never had the hole, while others have actually had the wholes closed off.. welded shut!

Also for those that are unaware, the box rocker is made up of two parts. The actual box section, a stamping, that attaches to the body, and then the rocker panel which attaches to the box stamping. This rocker is actually from the mid-year 911 (74 - 77) and thus has no flare to it.
