Price the convertible top hydraulic actuators, (I think there are 13 total, some over $1k dealer list price), then check the size of your boner. It will have diminished appreciably.

And book value is somewhere @$7K I think? But market value is all over the place.. crazy.. CarMax offered him $4,500 as a buy out without the hardtop. They didn't want the top. I have no idea why? But my dad is 82 and I'm back in ATL now. WOuld rather him not have to go the CL route if I'm not there.
