Do you have the old pressure plate and TOB? If yes, I'd bolt it up to the flywheel and take some measurements to compare with your new parts. You could also bolt it up to the engine and work the release lever with a pry bar while watching the TOB through the inspection port. Then you could see if the TOB hits the trans like the new one.
