I don't know enough about the electromotive ignition to comment on the best way to run in parallel.

If the O2 gauge you currently have has an 0-5v ECU output, as most seem to do, then the MicroSquirt should be happy to use that.

Sharing output from the map sensor might also be possible but it might be simpler to run them as separate systems with their own sensor.

The MicroSquirt ECU we use to control FrankenCIS has full ignition control capabilities so it might be worth considering replacing the xdi and DFU coils with the microsquirt and smart coils (or external ignitors capable of driving the DFU coils)
