First check the fuse panel to insure the wires are seated properly in their designated slots.
Second is to remove the rear light assembly and take a look under the rear cover plate. A wire or two may be loose and shorting out your system. Carefully inspect the plastic type board behind the sockets. They are liken to a computer's PCB board and are very brittle.
