1974 911S Targa - Orignal Motor with high quality rebuild

1974 911S Porsche Targa which has always been a California car. I have owned it the past 15 years.

The car has approximately 19K miles since the original engine and trans were rebuilt and body was resprayed. This care is SMOG exempt in California. This is not a concurs restoration car it was restored for the road, not the garage. This car is in great mechanical condition, solid body with no rust or body filler, paint is very nice with a few little digs.

The engine was rebuilt by a professional Porsche mechanic at GD Racing. It is a very high quality job and addresses all 2.7 issues. The rebuild that includes:
  • New RS pistons and cylinders
  • Oil fed chain tensioner upgrade
  • New fuel distributor and injectors from a euro 3.0
  • Cases were line bored and mating surfaces were machined
  • Cams and rockers machined
  • High oil pressure mod done
  • Heads rebuild with new valves and guides
  • Head studs were time serted and upgraded hardware
  • Upgraded engine oil pump from a later model engine
  • Upgraded alternator with internal voltage regulator

Brake calipers were rebuilt, new rotors & pads. Stainless steel brake lines.
H4 Euro headlights
28 Row Brass Oil Cooler was added
Targa Top was recovered
Black leather seats are out of a 2004 Boxster with power back rest adjustment. These seats are so much more comfortable on an all day drive, but they are mounted on the original seat sliders, so original style seats can be bolted back in.
Blaupunkt Radio/CD player.

Car is located near Santa Rosa, CA.
