I don't mind them for turbo specific Items. This forum moves pretty slowly anyways. It could be a slippery slope but hasnt been bothersome to date.

I think its nice to have turbo parts pop up here FS, saves reading thru tonnes of boring NA stuff in the regular forums. ;P

Agree -- if Turbo-specific, then a post or cross-posting post here is good.

I think the actual ad should be in the for sale section, then a post here that brings it to our attention and maybe a link to that actual FS post is fine.

I’m in agreement as well. I always let it be known here if I have something for sale. But only if it’s 930 specific.

Must be 930/turbo specific.
No spammers. I wouldn't want this place flooded with shady guys who don't contribute to this forum but are just trying to sell stuff. I don't want 20 different guys whom none of us have ever heard of before, trying to sell us their clear bra or wheel refinishing services.

turbo parts only.
we are a little unique, we don't have nearly the traffic the 911 side does. I get more frustrated at the non-tech stuff that is posted on the 911 side.

I'm good with 930/964 turbo only stuff.
Scrolling through all the fru-fru crap on the "parts for sale" page gets real old, real fast. Mark |

Putting 930 parts or cars in the correct for sale forums and linking them to a post here works best for everybody.

I agree 930 parts would be ok. Placing the ad on the for sale forums and linking them to a post here would probably be better for the seller...now id someone can only show me how to link the ad to the turbo forum that would be great.

^^^ When you post there is a globe with a chain link in the control bar at the top. Click that and copy the URL / "www.whatever.com/bla-bla-bla/10010010.html" from the post into the box that opens and click, OK.
It will put a link to the add or any website into the post.

In Windows click the address bar once to highlight the http: (hypertext transfer protocol) address. It will turn blue in windows.
Then right click on it and in the drop down menu click "copy" Then while you are typing your post in the dialog box you do that in, right click anywhere inside the dialog box and in the drop down menu click "paste". The http code will appear inside the dialog box with the text you write. On a MAC it would be something similar. |
