17 9 and 11"

looking for a wheel set in this size. Who has a set they'd consider letting go?
To fit 77 911s with wide body.

Carbster09 09-07-2018 07:22 AM

I have some replica Cup 1s that are pretty nice. Made in Japan, decent enough. Tires are located in MD. PM if interested.

voitureltd 09-07-2018 09:29 AM

With almost new Kumho's. without looking tires are 235 x 17 fronts and 285 X 17 rears. flawless, Took off my 85 930 after around 1K miles about a year ago. They used stock 930 spacers.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1536341134.JPG

Maybe itíll be impossible. I like these but am looking for a unicorn I guess.

quattrorunner 09-07-2018 09:34 AM

Yes 17" home made 3 piece...BBS barrels. I think the streched tire/larger rim is a nice look. Also having the center on the outside of the barrel/bolt face is my preference...

quattrorunner 09-07-2018 12:05 PM

I like those.

gumba 09-07-2018 02:07 PM

Here's an old shot with the 3 pc. 9&11 x 17's. 245/35/17 fronts and 315/35/17 rears. There's a set of 10&11 x 16 3 pc Fuchs in the for sale section. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-used-parts-sale-wanted/963542-lindsey-p3-wheels.htmlYou could swap out the barrels to 17"'s. The 3 pc Fuchs/BBS wheels are pretty scarce.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1536357964.jpg

IROC 912 09-08-2018 09:56 AM

Hi Philip,

Who cut and drilled your centres ? I have some 16x6 fuchs I'm looking to have converted. Thanks and sorry for the off topic.

For sale on c-list

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1536432805.jpg

Iím looking for the same 17x9/11. I would have already bought these but $7500 is just not in my budget for wheels and the seller is very firm on his price.

floridabmx 09-08-2018 12:07 PM

Whats your budget? I have some genuine Fuchs machined for three piece with BBS motorsport 17" halves. Also have e50's, Ronal Racing, E52, ... and even e56 or e57 if you want to go centerlock

gumba 09-08-2018 01:10 PM

What Ronal's do you have. I'm looking for 8's & 9's.
H.

∆∆∆ Wow. I bought those same wheels for, well, a lot lot lot less than that when they first came out. Could not imagine spending $7500 for a set of wheels.

That's what happens when Singer chooses you to build their wheels.
Ed Pink engines, Extreme heads, KW suspension all cost more now too.

floridabmx 09-10-2018 03:11 PM

Rip off. For $7500 I could build two sets of genuine forged Fuchs machined for brand new BBS Motorsport 20 hole halves and finished in a RSR finish.

quattrorunner 09-10-2018 07:45 PM

How much?

With hidden hardware and lighter than original Fuchs? No you canít.
Do you know Fiske wheels are 3 piece wheels?
Give credit where itís due. You can get cheaper wheels, but not better wheels for less money.

Youíre kidding right? I would bet money a three piece fuch with BBS halves is lighter. And genuine... aka not a replica aka better

And you say hidden hardware like thatís a good thing :)

RIPOFF

Carbster09 09-10-2018 11:39 PM

Those wheels don't cost that much. I know I have the same with RSR finish. They were just delivered a few months ago. Go on the website. Budget ~$6k. Now, the 6 month lead time is inaccurate. I waited longer than that!

The wheels are awesome, the best! Hence I waited.

Fronts have RSR offset so they're too wide for a stock 930 setup. Can change barrels if need be.

Well quattro, haven't really thought about it... saw your post and figured it's time to let 'em go. Just want to recoup my costs and get them to a good home. I'm thinking $3,500 + whatever my costs are (beyond just a cash-n-carry sale), i.e. payment method (PayPal fees) and logistics (dismount tires, packaging and delivery)). Fair and reasonable I trust...

quattrorunner 09-12-2018 12:38 PM

I’m just going to fix mine I guess.
Good grief this hobbie is espensive.

True that. Porsche, Fuchs, custom 3pc are all terms that are not associated with inexpensive. Curious, what were you expecting to be a fair cost? You planning a trip to SoCal anytime soon?

quattrorunner 09-12-2018 02:57 PM

Obviously fair price is whats being paid.....
I was hoping I could get away with 2-$2500 or so. I've given up on that now and am buying a turbo instead lol. My wheels are pretty great and I just need to buy another inner barrel to rectify a leak. Done as of yesterday actually. And the balance of my budget is getting a turbo yay! I guess sometimes we just need change..

Tippy 09-12-2018 03:37 PM

Quattro, Iíd kill for your wheels. Are those E28ís?

I have 18 X 8.5 and 18 X 10.5 Tramont Speedline replicas.

quattrorunner 09-12-2018 04:14 PM

Mine are fikse profile 10 9 and 11x17”
I like them. They’re freshly powder coated.
I thought your car was narrowbody?

Tippy 09-12-2018 06:33 PM

It is. Your wheels in gold would look so sweet on mine.

Are they light??

quattrorunner 09-12-2018 09:28 PM

I guess. I haven’t weighed them.

Jeveb that’s sexy!
Why’s the car so dusty?

jsveb 09-14-2018 10:46 AM

Thx.

Just dusty from sitting while building the new garage.
