Find good air conditioning for the 930 Turbo

Find good air conditioning for the 930 Turbo
Hi

I am currently looking for any recommendations on being able to retrofit my 1987 930 Turbo with a modern AC system. and now it's an AC car

* On many of the forums I've been looking for, there's still the appearance of familiar names like Griffiths, Classic Retrofit or Classic Auto air. Who has used this device yet, which any climate weather can be used

Budget is also a problem. I like the Classic Retrofit because of its many effects but at almost double the cost, so what kind of price is that ok?
Thank you

Classic Retrofit is owned by Classic Auto Air now. So they are the same kit.

The Griffiths stuff is better and the customer service is better.

Either one will get you cold AC.

If on a budget, do new lines and a dryer if the compressor and evaporater are still good. You can build from there. I vote for Griffths. I had the full boat on my last 930...it was nice and cold. Excellent product and great customer service.

Eh? Did there use to be a different outfit called Classic Retrofit?

Classic Auto Air in Texas seem to do traditional A/C for classic cars.

Classic Retrofit is the UK outfit responsible for the electric A/C Electrocooler (and other excellent products: Classic Retrofit: modern technology for classic machines).

As used in the current Ruf CTR:

Alongside our product development and manufacture, we are also proud to collaborate with many of the biggest names in bespoke classic vehicles, including the legendary Ruf Automobile GmbH. Classic Retrofit engineering will be incorporated into the latest Ruf CTR: a carbon-bodied supercar costing €550,000. We are exceptionally excited to work with the Ruf team on this truly game-changing project, scratch-built from the ground up.

Thank's Steve! I guess my memory isn't totally shot.
I don't even argue anymore, I just assume I'm wrong.

You hear a lot of good things about Griffiths stuff and he's a good guy. Getting good AC in these cars can be like throwing darts.
Hope it works out well.

Griffiths?? Absolutely the best around. He's got the technical side in spades, high quality parts, and best of all service after the sale is superb. You can't go wrong with him.
