Flat Fan parts needed

Hi all finally got on the dyno completed some light tuning but cylinder head temps where getting to high around 185c at 3500RPM so I fabricated new pulleys to spin the fan faster now running at 1.1-1 but still not fast enough......THEN BOOM the flat fan gearbox exploded thankfully no damage to injection or the engine....So I am chasing flat fan parts … gearbox, shroud, fan… ect ..whatever is out there...even reproduction parts will work.. contemplated returning to a standard fan setup but cannot do it I want to retain the flat fan ...

I'm guessing you have already found this.
REPRODUCTION FLAT FAN ASSEMBLIES | Jim Torres Racing
$25000 that's a tough hit to the wallet.
Sorry to hear about the fan best of luck.

Flat fan parts needed

Hi all my flat fan kit was a locally made one here in Australia i have tried to salvage it but it has to much damage thankfully i ran a screen under the breather vent where the oil drains from the fan back to the engine to stop any particles from entering the crankcase i will do as Chris TK suggested is to cut filter open just to be safe...
I am still on the hunt for another kit i know the cost will hurt i considered going back to standard fan but cant do it..

Keen to see what you come up with. My 934 rep needs a flat fan. Well, "needs" is a strong word but I'm sure you understand.

The only reproduction fan I trust is sold out and a new production run has started. I have a few factory fans but all but two of them need to be rebuilt. Not a problem but my ex Porsche Motorsports tech that does them for me is too busy right now.

The problem with these repro ones is that there are not many in the field to access their performance, they may look fantastic in a stand, but....

Hi, I am not understanding.
Are you saying that there are not many in the field -- not accessible -- due to the price? Or that the repro ones are unproven in the field?
Not arguing, just seeking to understand. :-)

Given the context I think that's supposed to be assess Chris, had to read it a couple times for myself.

Nothing like a factory flat fan set up. Lots of 24 hour races that have proven reliability. Not all fans are created equal and some are pure junk.

The fan on the MOMO 935 that I just sold is one of the nicest originals I have ever seen
