clutch pedal sticking slightly

The last inch or 2 of pedal travel sometimes doesn't come all the way back up. Sprayed some silicone on it an that helped for a day or 2. Its kinda annoying is there something you guys would recommend to lube that pedal shaft to keep it from sticking? Also is this a sign that the clutch is on its way out? It never slips.

It could be that your pedal bushings are worn out. Get the factory plastic bushings or aftermarket. I would not advise using the bronze bushings as so many people do. The bronze bushings will eventually wear out and will wear out your pedal assy at the same time requiring replacement of both.

Your pedal return assist spring might have broken, common problem with 930's.

The drag is that the factory replacement spring has long been unavailable, but the blue SC spring works better than nothing, and is available through our host....or at least was as of a couple of years ago.

on my car this ended up being caused by wear on the guide tube that the pressure plate rides on. The lube had worn off over the years and the guide tube had developed a few "notches" in it that were catching the disk as it tried to re engage. I had to drop the engine and put in a new guide tube. Solved it.

My symptoms included pushing the pedal in and then it would not return unless I reached down and gave it a light tug with my hand, or hooked a toe under it and pulled the pedal back out. Once I got it moving it would then snap back up to normal position.
