3.6 vs 3.3 Vacuum to the EZ69 01-02 difference and failures

Hello 3.6 Turbo friends

I was doing some reading and I came across this , On my 1992 3.3 the vacuum line to the EZ69/ 01 is connected the intake manifold and according to this the 3.6 EZ69 /02 is connected to the throttle body can someone verify this ? maybe include a pic were the 3.6 is connected the TB or diagram would be awesome. It would be a update that the 3.3 guys can benefit from.

I was told by a shop in Germany FSR sportauto ,The reason for some of the failures of the EZ69's was caused by running boost over 0.9 bar, He explained that the extra pressure would break the pressure sensor in the EZ69 units.

M64/50 engine:
Whilst similar to the earlier M30/69 engine ignition system some changes to the
M64/50 were introduced the 964 Turbo 3.6 made its appearance in model year 1993.

These differences are:

The installation of a new ignition control unit with modified ignition mapping pre-programmed into the control unit (part number 965 602 706 02).
The pressure sensor line is relocated to the downstream section of the throttle
body. This was done to reduce the impacts of full load pulsations on the pressure sensor installed in the control unit.

Here's what I found....The pressure sensor line to the EZ69/02 was relocated to the downstream section of the throttle body of the 3.6 turbo cars. In fact, The hose to the EZ69/01 sensor was connected to the intake manifold on all 3.3 and to the throttle body to the 3.6 Turbo's, This was done to reduce the impacts of full load pulsations on the pressure sensor installed in the control unit.

I'm thinking of changing the vacuum lines to the TB and see what happens, Any opinions ?

EZ69 is the ignition control unit with ignition mapping pre-programmed into the control unit, kinda like the MSD digital 6AL units, timing is pulled using a map pressure sensor and vacuum. Maybe Chris from TurboKraft will chime in :)
