In Dash Boost Gauge
'80 SC 3.0 to 3.2SS turbo conversion in progress (0.8 bar)
Ordered a boost gauge from North Hollywood Speedometer to be custom built with the 2bar range being -0.5 to 1.5 The gauge is listed as 2-1/16" dia so my plan was to mount it on the console along with a similar diameter AFR gauge. Picked up today and to my delight, the gauge size is identical to my clock ! Not cheap, but it's a work of art (even with a VDO faceplate). I was having my clock repaired at the same time and maybe that inspired him ? 5star review for NoHo Speedo ![]()

Good luck--the one I have from NHS rattles like mad, and isn't very accurate. Not surprised they stopped putting their initials on them...
I'll be sending mine to Palo Alto; they have a better reputation. |

Shame to hear about the quality issues. As I’ve searched and searched for an 80mm boost gauge, those are the only ones that look alright. Any way to bury a basic smaller VDO boost gauge with similar font inside the clock bezel?

Mine is a Greddy - unfortunately can't take a pic right now. Works fine - goes from -0.75 to 1.5.
Fits where the clock was. More interested in boost than the time of day. Alan

Think they're 52mm (2 1/16") diameter. You need something to bridge the gap. Like an old clock shell, or a round plate. Some examples: ![]() ![]()
