Whatís Your Opinion on these Spark Plugs

From my RST hot rod. 3.2 motor converted to 3.4 twin plug turbo, ruf pistons and cylinders, tec3r, etc. Plugs have approximately 20k km, all highway and spirited back roads driving. First time Iíve used single electrode plugs. Excellent performance. All plugs very consistent in colour. Soot probably attributed to last short lethargic run in cold weather.

Thoughts. Too hot? too cold? About right?
Thanks in advance.
Johan

highway and spirited driving the plugs look very rich or way too cold(probably not cold) \
what Is the heat range, 8?

just as a comparison I ran a used set of bosch W3's in my 77's and it was running rich.
I pulled them after a 1000 mile road trip and they looked waaaay better than those.
my point, hiway driving your mixture should be in a much leaner state than idle or WOT.

what are your AFR's

I have read that the ground strap indicates timing, based on that yours looks good

I don't know those plugs but I run NGK copper, BP8ES

13.5 idle- motor happiest at this setting.
14.7 cruising
12.5 full power
Readings from lap top recording and PLX electronic readout.
Black soot is loose and NOT cacked on
As I said before, soot is likely the result I’m my last lethargic drive late this fall before I put the RST away for the winter.
You may be right that I’m running the wrong heat range. Have to research some more.

Cheers,
Johan
