Hello Folks.

I am putting back together my 930 engine from a very detailed cleaning.. and cannot remember where the other end of this hose hooks to back up to??

Anyone know off the top of their head?

That connects to spout on the endcap (firewall side) of the recirculation valve housing (left side of the secondary intake manifold).

Yep. It's somewhat tricky getting the hose connected, but doable.

Indeed.....

Broke the hose,, it was very brittle.. I will need a new one ..

Anyone have softer one? Dealer or Pelican?

After part diagram search ... there is no part number for this hose..

thanks!

When I replaced mine, I bought an appropriately sized length of hose from an auto parts store (nothing special about that hose - just needs to be sturdy, and the cloth covering is of no benefit, unless you are looking to visually replicate the original), and then inserted a suitably sized spring into it (in the area where the bend is made) so that the hose would not kink where it curves fairly tightly. That is a way you can work around needing to use a pre-formed hose.

I was able to find the correct part number OK for the bulk hose in the parts fiche - the actual hose part number refers to a cut length from the main hose.

Seeing as I could not find the correct hose from our host when I was looking, I think it will be OK to point you to :

Parts Kl@ssik SKU # 2620.1300

I had to replace the exact same hose on my '78 930 and it very much matched the original hose. I'd sent you the rest of the 1metre purchase I had left over but shipping from New Zealand would be more than the hose :-(
