'76 930 Front Valance, needing some help
The front licence plate mounting holes are spaced much wider than will accommodate a US plate. Some time ago I set out to see if there was a Porsche adapter to mount a US plate, but have been unsuccessful.
PET shows the P/N for the '76 valance to be 91150304902. Does anyone know what license plate bolt spacing version is used on this specific valance, and any idea what the Porsche P/N is for the valance I currently have? |

plate mount
I m pretty sure the 1976 turbo front valance is different then the 1977-1982 Valance. Could be the plate mount holes.
It'd be pretty easy to just take a stock style bracket and have it fabricated up to the width you need, at least that's what I'd do, or take a 1977 and up bracket and have it modified to mount to your hole pattern |

the part number you have is the steel lower valance piece, there is a bracket that attaches to that, that then attaches the license plate, that is the piece you will need to find, if you want it to be full OEM, the one shown below appears to be the american width plate mount, you'd just have to order one and see if it fits your hole width

I believe the difference is with the rubber spoiler mounting. The 1976 had different stud spacing and location. In 1977 these were changed to the current configuration. As for the license plate mounting holes/ location I have not looked at that.
