79 / 930 Turbo line issue / understanding?.... Any help?
 

Any help is appreciated. Im finishig putting my 930 engine back together. Having small issue with the line coming from the turbo wastegate. I can't seems to find where it connects to in the Porsche PET. Please see pics. Any help is appreciated.

I believe that hose connects to the intercooler, just above the exit you have circled in red, on the USA '78/9. Can pull some pictures of mine and verify.

the bottom side of the intercooler?

It depends on the intercooler. But on the one shown, you can see that line run up to the driver's side front bottom corner of the intercooler. Attached also, is a diagram of the system. The line you are asking about is the skinny one going to the waste gate in the diagram.

Bit different with the 79..?

Signal line to the WG, typically off the intercooler. Shouldn't be any different with a 79, there is a nipple on your intercooler.
