Christmas came early

Having the 930 and my 06 duramax gmc 250 I needed a going out ride. So I found this rs5. This is my first Audi and while itís quick with the v8 itís not my 930. However it sounds fantastic and itís loaded with creature comforts Iím not used to.

I love A5/s5/rs5’s. They’re so good looking. I/my wife has the A5 cab and love that too.

#richpeopleproblems lol

Sweet ride, I love the RS stuff, but can only afford used Audi's and would never want to live with a used Audi. An old Porsche is bad enough.

Congrats on the new ride it looks badass and as you probably know that there is a crap ton of mods that you can do.What i really want to know if you reached your goal of 800hp with your 930?

Hey Kevin yep Iím going toTRY and not mod out the rs5 too much. Already did the x pipe so the sound is incredible, also not many people know that this 4.2 is not the v8 of the r8 but rather the r8 v10 minus 2 cylinders. Redline is 8300 and the gearbox is insane. As far as the 930 Iíve been really enjoying driving it now in our cooler weather.. here in so fla we tear em down in the summer and drive in the winter :-). Anyway the gt40 is only rated to a little over 800 hp. Obviously thatís at the crank not tires so simply put 800-10 percent gives 710, and Iím at 706. Maybe twins this summer as I donít think a single snail will get me where I want to be. If I go twins Gerry ( slantnose from hell) is right down the road for some inspiration and guidance, and maybe some fab work

Nice ride, enjoy it! Bought a new Ď18 S4 almost 2 years ago, definitely not the 930, but a nice DD, I love it. Got my eye on the rs6 avant- coming out next year, having a hard time justifying the $$$ for that though!

We've had a couple different Audi's over the years. My wife wanted something sporty with 4 wheel drive for the snow. If I didn't have the 930 I would have pushed for the RS.

Congrats on the RS5. Nice set-up with a private lot (no nosy neighbors or lookyloos)) with the detached garage although there are not enough oil stains on the concrete driveway

A good friend just picked up a Supercharged S5 and its a fun car that he is just starting to mod, the RS model would be fantastic.

When I bought the Cayman S I was also considering the V8 RS5. I’m very happy with the tossible Cayman but I always wonder about that high revving V8!

FRANK!!!

Merry (belated) Christmas mah friend!

Quite well done thar! Great choice, kudos. You'll love it more each day, brilliant motor and just stunning cars all out. EVERY A/S/RS5-series car I see on the road *alwayz* catches my eye... they're all gorgeous.

Scored What's Her Face an //S5 cab last spring, I realllllllllllllly dig driving it - while my ///M3 vert's a better _driving_ car, the Audi's a better 'car' IMO (had bunches of both).

Always looking @ my 'next' car, I reallllly want an RS5 cab next - ohyeah.

Me I'd not mod it much, x-pipe was sage wisdom but rest of those are pretty damn good as-is.

Miles? Welcome to the world of carbon cleaning lololol... did my V10's awhile back... the motors can be needy w/ miles ($2k manifold on mine due to guaranteed internal flap nukage, plus labor ftmfl).

Great stable / casa yer rockin there sir! Enjoy them in great WOT health. Hope you've been schwell otherwise.

btw Calvin, LOVE the green on yer //S4 - tits choice!

Funny how many of us have these things - great mindz, eh?

Nice xmas prezzy. My other car is a Jag XKR (supercharged) that stickered at $104k which I got at significantly less than 1/2 of that with loads of upgrades and still in warranty.

The Jag is a lovely, lovely car to drive, as is the 930. But the 930 is not a car to passenge in!

I'd really love to replace the a5cab with RS5cab obviously! My wife loves her car and the fuel economy. Ima have to work on her some more. I can't get one for me I already have the 911 turbo.......and push comes to shove I wouldn't trade it for an RS5 although I've thought about it.
That RS5(b8) is so sexy!!!
I Like the b9 a/s/rs5 but not the rs engine. It's powerful but doesn't have the sound. Sadly this is our future. I'll get a b8 RS5 one day.
