oil relief springs 76 turbo
i was hoping someone could shed some light on this subject. my 76 turbo is from what i was told is an engine that should not have the oil bypass modification drilled out because it already takes it into consideration .. . as the case configuration is different.
so what's the deal with the big and the small spring according to all i read it says big on bottom small on top well both my springs are the same length and the pistons are the later smooth sided non drilled .. so should i have a big spring and one small spring or should i run the two equal length springs as were originally installed this way ? |

Ned,
According to the PET both springs are the same. 901.107.531.00 Rahl
