How is your turbo holding up? I note that you used a "cheap ebay chinese" turbo.. still going strong?

I drove the car for about 1000 miles with a lot of boosted sprints of course, last week I took the turbo off to add a oil drain tank, and it looks brand new with no play in the shaft, so I think it will hold up just fine. Mind you that although its Chinese, but it wasn't a cheaply made one, it has a lot of positive reviews accross the internet, its sold under the brand name "Pulsar Turbos" in ebay.

No issues with welding on the scavenge pump drive to my NOS 964 camshaft. I like the 964 camshafts with my K27/7200. I had thought I might need a bigger turbo but it's a good match imho.
Running great finally.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1636370782.jpg

Good to hear. I'm new to this scene, and getting my head around it still. Which model of Pulsar turbo did you use in the end?

I'm also using one of the Pulsar turbos (also recommended to my by kamaro). It's the GT3582R - I've got about 3k miles on mine and so far no issues.

My 60-1 drained to the chain housing and worked ok and then I drained my BW S366 to the oil drain plug. Neither ideal. Bit I never had a problem where oil was blowing past the cold side under high RPM and boost so there's that.

Good to hear. I am leaning towards a 3071 Pulsar turbo... for quick spooling and modest power gains.

Motor will be 3.0 with 9.5:1 compression.

For those that are using the Pulsar turbo, what are you doing with the water cooling connection?
