76 930 rear condenser

Hi all.
Has anyone had luck finding a rear condenser replacement that will fit in the 930 3.0 turbo rear wing?

If you haven't tried Griffith's yet, check with him; the owner, Charlie, is very responsive and even if not listed on his website he might have one or be able to tell you where to get one.

Ronnies right, Charlie is the guy to check with. You want a new state of the art condenser not an old original. Lots of improvements in efficiency since 1976.
I also believe in putting a fan on that thing if you want good cold air.

Searching the web by part number 93057305600, I found one at:

Road & Race Inc.
1955 Blake Avenue Suite H
Los Angeles, CA 90039

The other option that should provide better cooling would to measure the size of a parallel flow condenser that will fit into the tail and order one from one of the aftermarket suppliers. Example Arizona Mobile Air, Inc. ackits dot com.

I had a 76 930 and I put Griffiths triple condenser kit on it. My kneecaps turned blue.

Did the '76-'77 non-intercooled cars use the same full-size condenser as the non-turbo 911s?

No they did not. They fit into and attach to the spoiler under a metal panel.

Oh that's right--there's a lot of stuff going on in the decklid/tail on the 76 and 77 Turbos that's not on the later models...
