Lindsey Racing wheels

So, I reached out to Mike about wheels for my 930 and he just informed me that due to lack of availability of the 16x6 Fuchs for cores (and even if you supply the cores, he doesn't have the capacity with his other projects), that they will no longer be supplying wheels. That's a bummer for those that might have been considering them for 17's.

Then if I were you, I’d jump on these if still available FS: Lindsey Racing Fuchs 17x9 17x11

Oh yeah, I saw those. Beautiful wheels. $5k at this time probably (certainly) out of my price range.

By the time you found 16x6 Fuchs and had Mike build you a set...you'd be close to $5k...plus the wait.

$800 x 4+ $3200
16x6 Fuchs that are in useable shape $800-1K
Shipping the 16x6 Fuchs $200?
Shipping them when they are completed $200
Now the 8 week wait

I've done this. I sent Mike 4 16x6 Fuchs...one unfortunately was not useable..so I bought one from Mike. Honestly I wish I had a use for the ones I listed. I'd have been all over them.

8 week wait? I waited like 5-6 months for them! I wish I had a use for them I should probably just stash them because I know I'll have another 930 down the road. And 5k is exactly what I have into them.

It was 8 weeks back in 08. Your set is priced very well. I’m surprised they haven’t sold. I have two buddies that have 930’s and I was hoping one of them picked them up as it would transform their car but they already have a set of aftermarket wheels. I’m sure a taker will appear soon enough.

I have to check my invoice but I think I had them built in 2014-2015? Back then Mike was telling me he was probably going to stop doing them because it was a lot of work and he had a lot of other projects going on.

Yep, no doubt these are worth the cost, or that a similar cost would be had purchasing new from Mike, but $5k is still $5k and unfortunately beyond me at this point in time. Love them but hard to justify the cost for me right now with other, more pressing items for the car. My original message was more of a heads-up for those looking to get a set of these wheels. Makes dg567's wheels more appealing for the right buyer with the right budget.

You should be able to find a good set of used Fiskes for less than half that price if you poke around a bit. They are excellent, lightweight, forged wheels and look great on 930s.

I just bought a set of the rota fox 17/9and11 set. I didn’t really want too but since I can’t find theeuromiesters anymore and can’t afford the other options like fikse and braid wheels I’ll give them a shot. These will be for looks anyway. My other wheels are fikse and they’re pretty good. I’ll update with pics when I get them.

Anyone looked into the Maxilite 17's? I had originally looked at the 15's since they're a great price point and look great, but for now decided to stick with my stock 16's. But I recently saw that they now have 17's and I thought they could be a more affordable option for the original Fuchs look as compared to Fiskes/Rotas/Lindseys/Euros.
