R.I.P. Dirk Scheffer aka Edelweiss...
I read on a German forum that Dirk Scheffer, aka Edelweiss on here, has passed away...
I only met him once but he was very kind and took the time to show me around his shop. The man had fuel running around in his veins for sure! My thoughts go out to his family... |

Awful news. Dirk was a huge BMW motorcycle tuner as well. RIP brother.

Oh man... We had lot of communication over last months via email and phone calls, he was such a knowledgeable guy and besides talking about modifying Porsches we talked about everything...

Had a chat with his wife Regine, Dirk passed away on October 1st due to cancer, as she put it, Dirk lost this final race against the disease..
She is now in the process of liquidating Edelweiss...
