Cold start valve question

Does the cold start valve bolt directly to the manifold or does it bolt to a cold start flange? When I got the car the pervious owner had it bolted directly to the manifold. I found in the 911 turbo service manual it shows a flange and the host has one for sale like this:

Car is 1978 930

looks like the 78 uses that flange for the aux air regulator.
the later cars had that molded into the manifold.

look to see where your aux air regulator is routed, maybe you have a newer manifold.
maybe your AAR was removed.
