How to make 86 jetronic work in 79 930

I’m a newb when it comes to CIS and 911’s. I am building a 79 930 that I purchased as a rolling chassis. I then purchased an 86 3.3 turbo engine with harness and jetronic box. I can’t find any reminents of such a control unit on the 79 chassis. So my questions are

1) what does the jetronic ECU control? Is it just 02 sensor?

2) does the ECU get its power from the engine? What all needs happen Ike’s up to make it run?

3) Can you identify the connectors in the pic marked with an arrow and tell me what their function is?

Thanks for your help. I’m pulling out my already rapidly decreasing hair. I’ll include a pic of the unit and wiring for reference

Those look like standard plugs.
From memory I am running an 86 engine in my 82 chassis.
There was a TPS on the engine - which I don't use.

Alan

Do you have anything else in the cabin under the seat that is hooked up to the module?

Mine is a RoW car (ex Japan), so I think it is missing some bits yours may have - incl that box.

My wiring is for the 82 engine type (same as your 79). And it has all it needs to run the basics on the 86. There is no lambda loop, TPS, speed limiter thing etc. Doesn't need it.
