cis sensor plate stop
part # 928-110-924-00 the rubber stop Attached to the metal bracket that runs across the top of the sensor plate. so what the deal with this? does this stop actually have a function other than a anchor point for the factory air box? ? i have two 930 cis systems and both stops are at least 2 to 3 mm away for the sensor plate nut.. i don't see how this stop has a function. Other than the rubber coming loose and getting sucked into the turbo. hence my Question do i need it? im running a K&c cone filter .and if i do how should the stop be set?

Way back in my cobwebs I recall this being for keeping the arm from bouncing creating caring air flow or some such thing. Maybe this will ring a bell and jog someone else’s memory.

It has always puzzled ne too - for same reasons. My car did not have one, so I ordered and fitted one. But I am still struggling to see the point. Unless it is some sort of backstop for a backfire?
