930 Crankcase Breather Hard Line
Hi guys, I'm getting ready to put my freshly turbo'ed SC 3.0 engine back in my car. I was planning to re-use the relatively new breather line I had on the engine pre-turbo, but it occurred to me that maybe there's some reason part of the 930 breather line was metal. Not sure what that reason might be, but any concern in running the all rubber line in my application? I'll only have .5 bar of boost if that's consequential.

That hard line still joins in to a rubber union on top of the crankcase.
As long as you can support a soft line, should be fine. Temps are not excessively high there. My guess is a total rubber line may get floppy. Perhaps a braided line is better. Alan
