Aluminum turbo calipers on a 1982 SC
Hi Everyone
I have a 1982 911 SC with bilstein struts that came with A calipers. I have a set of NOS aluminum brake calipers that I believe were for the 930 turbos. I’ve measured the bolt spacing on both and they are at 3.5 inches. Would these turbo brake calipers work on my SC. Thanks in advance. |

Yes, they will fit. If you want to upgrade go with a 3.2 Carrera caliper. You need matching rotors because they are thicker.

I think that your rear trailing arm caliper bolt spacing is 3.0” and the turbo brake calipers are 3.5”. You should double check.

Just happened to stumble on this old thread, info applies:
No booster 930 brakes There is info on the mod needed to make the calipers fit on the rear 3 inch spacing.

I assumed the OP was just talking about front brakes/calipers/struts. I wouldn’t use S calipers f&r. It’s not the right ratio.
