Sanity check : installing used 3.3 P&Cs .. good idea?

I came to the stage where I need to rise the bar a bit more with my 3.2 turbo conversion. running turbo on a euro 3.2 is too risky on the long run, and since my project was based on a limited budget, so I thought if I can find a clean set of 3.3 pistons and cylinders, that would be a much better idea to be safe and get the boost up to a more reasonable 10-15 pounds. care to know what do you guys think?

If you can find a set that is well within spec, why not? I would always replace the ring pack and you will be in great shape. But you could always mill your existing pistons to achieve the desired compression ratio for less money.

I thought of doing that, but for the price of a good used set of 3.3 (which there a few around for sale), I'd rather keep my set as a spare, especially that they were replaced just a few thousand kilometers ago by the previous owner.

Definitely I will put in a new set of piston rings just in case, but the quest now is to find a good set for a reasonable price, if anyone has a set please let me know.

Thanks,,,

I have my original set lying on the shelf. I always kept it and thought I might need it one day. but now after 10 years i realize that i drive the car 1-2 times a year for a few km and i am at a point where i will soon give up the hobby.
so if you are thinking about installing 930 cylinders and pistons let me know, i would like 500 euros plus shipping.
I'm happy to take pictures for you, dominik

One more question, Would the stock 3.2 heads fit directly to a 3.3 cylinder without the 3.3 gasket?

Also, I call again if anyone has a good set of 3.3 pistons and cylinders for sale please let me know.

Thanks!
