Looking for LED dash lamp
I received a set of LED dash gauge lamps which have the metal base and fit nicely but i found out that there are different lamps as well.
Is there an LED alternative to this bulb linked below? https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/90063113290.htm?pn=900-631-132-90-OEM |

Yes; I've had a red one in the :"low fuel" warning for many years. Think these are also used in the fan/heater panel illumination. Perhaps a couple of other places - it's been a while...
They're polarity sensitive, so need to figure which way round they need to go. Apparently some of the cheap ones may arrive with wires on both sides - avoid doing this, as it will short. If it's going through a colored filter, get colored LEDs to match. My fuel warning was pink with the bulb, and could not be seen at all in bright sunlight. Now it's rich, deep red, and can.

![]() Pretty sure the 2721 wedge is the one you want, also referred to as 74 70 or 37. Or perhaps T5. They're all over Flea Bay, Amazon, SuperBrightLEDs.com (or dozens of other sources). Walmart stock 'em.. All of ours fire down a tunnel, so no point paying more for the ones with multiple devices that also illuminate sideways, just get the cheap type with the single SMD on the end. The "projector" lens (not shown) doesn't do much, but probably less likely to catch/get damaged while fitting. These are the cheap ones: ![]() Usually less than a buck each. 10 for $2.50 from China. Biggest problem is likely to be buying small quantities (like 1 or 2) of the colored ones.
