Has anyone tried XONA ROTOR on their 930s

Talked to the owner's wife about their turbos and she told me that the Xona Rotor turbos need to be watercooled to survive. Their centersections are machined stainless and do not hold up to heat as well as (for instance) Garrett, if there is no water available for cooling. But they upgraded Garrett turbos with their own compressor wheels under the Forced Performance label, which was an appreciable improvement over stock. But that was pre Gen 2, if I remember correctly.
