044 equivalent
 

Thought I would put this out there. I posted similar info on another page.

If you are looking for an "044" fuel pump there is an equivalent that I have put into service and it works very well for the last year and cost much less.

It is an AEM pump, so if you can get past not using a Bosch part then this may save some money with equal performance as far as I can tell.

AEM makes great products, but unfortunately they have the same problem as Bosch, cheap fakes. Beware where you buy them, go to their website and I believe they can sell you direct or point you at a licensed dealer.

I got mine from Summit. Felt safe with that.
