recovered my cracked dash...

Got this 88 930 that had been sitting for about 7 years. Dash was pretty cracked up, as were the top of the door sills. Bought some dash repair filler, and some "alcantara" rolls from amazon.

Its been a few weeks, and its all still sticking and looking great! All for under $75.

Nice!
If you don't mind me asking, where did you source the door panel/parts?

Looks nice. I paid $1,600 for my dash I think. I have the original core if anyone wants it.

Thanks for all the positive feedback! I will update in a couple months after we get our 8 degree days mixed with our 98 degree days! But so far, so good!

The door cards are just generic (ebay). But the top piece that had the leather cracked and busted up is what I recovered. Then decided to not put in the door lock knobs (will use central locking if I need it) or pop ups when the door unlocks. Just keeping it clean.

Nice job on the dash. I paid about $500 to get mine done a year or so ago, and I coughed at that. And they could only do black and my trim is blue. I managed to mix a couple of vinyl dyes and got a 'perfect' match. Can't tell the difference.

Any issues with the dash fitting back on once a ‘thicker’ layer of material added ?, my SC dash is cracked and i would like to cover it in matching Cork leather, not sure if that will affect the fit after folding the material under the lips ??

I had a roll cage to work against to pull the dash cover out. That was a PITA. Without that, not too bad. It basically fits back in no problem. There are some tricky bolts/nuts. in the back of the bulkhead.

Nah, there is plenty of room between all the pinch points. The fabric I used came with a sticky side, but I used upholstery glue on top of that just to be sure.
