Have you heard anything on their quality? I’m thinking of changing some gears and there’s a big price difference between the two.

I haven't. I also haven't seen prices from Guard. Matt Monson from GT is on the forums here. RS sounds like they have a legit history, but I don't know about their quality. I haven't heard anything negative on either. I know both have or currently supply serious race teams.

We’ve been cutting gears for more than 25 years. In that time, we have been an OEM supplier for Ruf, 9ff, Moseler, Singer, Gunterwerks, and both Porsche Motorsport and Porsche Classic. Cars using our products have won the Rolex 24 Hours and multiple championships in multiple classes in Grand Am, ALMS, Imsa, and World Challenge in the time that I have owned the company, which is 15 years.
That 3rd gear ratio isn’t a popular ratio, and I haven’t made one in at least half a dozen years. Most people go shorter than that. 1.038 is what I could offer. The 4th is no issue. They run $930 each. Regards, Matt Monson Guard Transmission llc 970-669-7144

I manufactured these gears pre-covid. I have refused to raise my prices "because inflation". Only new production with higher costs gets a higher price.
