930 gearbox broken tab
Hello everyone. I have a 74 911, putting in a 930 box ( we'll get to that later) I ordered a bracket to replace the broken tab. Doesn't seem right to me. Is that bracket different for a 915 different than a 930??

Clutch cable? Yes, the 915 uses a bolt on bracket where the 930 has the cable holder integrated into trans housing.

Over the years I've seen a couple people post repairs which look something like this, seem to recall they only put a plate on the compression side instead of both sides, though I've never done it.

I have seen that pic. Should work but checking options. My racecar guy would have been ok welding that closed And redrilling a hole. But it's been shortened and rebuilt already. Kinda too late to go that route, unless of course we take it back apart. Uh. No

Check and see if California Motorsports offers something.
