This is what I am starting with. It is rougher than I expected but I will take what I can. The machinist I went through is now requesting that the seller supply the parts that were unusable but the internals so far seem to be in good reusable shape. More pics to come as I break it down.

You'd be surprised how nice the outsides come up, after a decent media blast then vapour hone...

I think that's a great platform to start with.

![]() Have it broke down to the case. The seller admitted he had no idea the condition of the motor was so bad and may be issuing a partial refund. All the major components will be off to get cleaned and checked and a plan be made of how to proceed in a week or two |

Pulled the sump plate and screen and was pleased to see no metal on the magnet or the plate that’s a good sign.

I went with a 964 pump with turbo piston squirters on my 3.0l ---> 3.2 turbo build.

Some of the bits waiting to go back on after I get this put back together it’s gonna take time because this took me by surprise so I have to wait until money is available to buy parts I want.

Where did the motor originate? Are you turning the cab into a turbo cab? Was this car just sitting in someones driveway? How does a motor get that way?
