1987 930 Slantnose-New interior project

I recently purchased a 1987 930 turbo Slanthose in very good running condition. The motor transmission had both been rebuilt recently to 3.4 and the car absolutely rips. The interior however, is ratty and rough. Parts of it had been changed and replaced over the years and they used bad materials and poor craftsmanship. Since the car runs awesome and looks awesome, I decided to improve it from the inside out. I identified an upholsterer in North Georgia and we are beginning our journey. The interior will be re-trimmed in a hyde and a half of German leather with most everything refreshed. I’ll share the progress as the install should take 3 weeks. Cheers.

Looking forward to seeing the updates! I've been thinking about redoing the seats in mine. We used to live in Alpharetta

Cassis with Burgundy interior....Are you keeping it stock colors re doing something a little different. I've been lucky with my 84 930 Slant....GR with Cork interior that still shows well after 115k miles. My leather dash is a little wavy, but other than that the interior has held up really well.

that looks great and I love the color. Colors on this will remain as they were intended by Ferry and the team :-) I’m anxious to watch it morph.

From the pics, your carpet doesn't look bad at all, except for the missing pieces on the driver's side.

Good from far, far from good. The color is not correct although close...it's rough.
