Bell Intercoolers?

Ok I have been working with Bell intercoolers for a few weeks to make me some IC's for our 3.2 turbo kits. Have anyone dealt with them before?? Good craftsman ship?? There prices are very competitive for the quantity I am ordering. before I seal the deal I would like some feed back

I just got my custom one ~1 month ago. I'm very happy with it so far.

Gerhard was very helpful and the craftmanship is excellent.
With the weather being very cool up North here, I can't really say how effective it is when its 100F out. But in my last few outting on track with ambiant ~60F or below, the intercooler rocks. And when driving on street, when you stop the car, one side is warm & the other is stone cold.

So far, I am very satisfied.

Ben,
Check out Don Enderlein's (DonE on this board?). I believe he worked
with Bell and was very happy.

I also read you may be going 3.2 SS with your turbo project.
Have you decided exactly what your going to run? (pistons,
cams, induction?)

I bought just a core from them, so I can't comment on their build quality. The core itself looks very nice and the price is unbeatable.

Bell is awesome, Gerhard really knows his craft. I am near completion on an EFI(Motec) conversion and I chose a Bell Intercooler actually I used DonE Don Enderlein's design an it fits under a stock hood despite its mass.

I am also using the dimensions that DonE and Gerhart had developed. I received my I/C about a month ago, but have not put it on yet, as my motor is still apart. It looks 1st class, and on DonE's car, in the GA heat, the temp after the I/C was close to ambiant, so quite efficient too... I have pics that I have post on the rennlist if you need to see them... got the 3 IC's last night from going-super-fast. I must admit very nice package for 800 and is a well put together for a somewhat handy person. I know that Bell can make them cheaper but not much as this cam with BOV,silicone 90,silicone straight 1ft,silicone reducer,3 inch aluminum 90, 3 inch 1ft of aluminum. overall happy with the set up and hey I got 3 of them for 2400

Actually the Bell cost $1350, so it is not less than the Going Superfast Intercooler. That intercooler is basically a front mounted intercooler that has piping welded on to fit our cars. I bought some fuel rails from them though that I am very pleased with. I think they manufacture their stuff in China.
