Oil Pressure

1986 930, 34,500 miles, Mobil1 15/50, Stock. My first 930, but have owned many older 911's.
After engine is warm (approx 190-200 degrees) oil pressure reads just under 4 bar cruising at 2600 rpm. Idle, approx 1000 rpm, just under 2 bar. This seems high, although I am used to the older cars with numbers for the temp, and psi for the pressure. Is this normal? If not, any negatives? No leaks at all.

Great forum...

That's consistent with my 87 with 50K miles, except that I'm just slightly under 4 bar cruising at 2600.

Perfectly normal and indicative of a healthy engine.

Es geht nicht darum wie schnell man faehrt, sondern wie gut man schnell fahren kann.
