How much should I weigh ?

I just picked my 930 car is stripped just 2 seats and roll cage. Only music is straight pipe off of turbo and staight pipe off of waste gate. So what is a good weight for her ? I also removed a/c.

I would be curious... I weighed mine when I corner balanced the car a few years back - with strip interior, race shells, GHL headers, FG front spoiler and a cage, mine (87) came in at ~3050 lbs without driver.

That seems to be a "few hundered" pounds heavier than what everyone says...

Don't confuse dry advertised weights with the real world weights including fluids. There are 3.5 gallons of oil, a gallon or two of washer fluid and 20-ish gallons of gas. The gas and oil alone can be in excess of 150 pounds.

2320 #'s, with a 1/4 tank of fuel. Mine is a '74 tub with SC flares
though, so I had a bit of a head start in the weight dept over the
930 guys
3 liter twin-plugged intercooled turbo, 349 RWHP, 401 at the FW.
Fiberglass hood, Ducktail, Fr./Rr. bumpers
No A/C, No Heat, No Stereo
Early RS style door panels/carpet
Headers w/ Magnaflow muffler
Odyssey 680 battery
Recaro Pole Positions
Safety Devices Full Cage
17 x 8 & 9.5 Lindseys
993 Fr./951 Rr. brakes
I REALLY want to get the weight down to 2200#'s.
FG doors, lexan rear glass, and light weight starter
may be in my future?

Looks like Craig won. What did he win?

Mine weighed 2900 with heavy fake turbo twist wheels and fiberglass C2 bumpers.

It should be closer to 2700 in it's current state w/o A/C and many lightening mods during it's 29 month nap.

I like those wheels. I'm planning to get some Kodiak wheels with black centers and polished rims for my black 930.
