If this hose split......specifically, what'd happen?

I have a pretty good understanding of the 930 systems, but if this curved hose:

were to split or leak, exactly what would occur?
(Old pic, pre rebuild)

Hose is fatigued at the top join area and almost split through -

Craig,
If you are talking about the hose going from intercooler to the recirculating valve, failure of the hose MAY cause stall of the turbo compressor wheel during shifts leading to premature turbo failure. Your set up is different than most because of your unique intake tube routing.

If you wonder about thick rubber hose, nothing serious would happend. You would have vakuum leak off boost and boost leak on boost. idle revs would soar and you would run lean on idle.

If small hose was leaky it would render BOV valve unoperational, leading to sluggish boost buildup after each shift. Impeller damage due to inop BOV at your bost levels is unlikely. But you would have hight boost peaks in intercooler between shifts which could blow off a hose or two.
