Now that I'm done with my brake job I can say that so far I'm VERY happy with the Metal-Master Brake Pads.

http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/911M/POR_911M_BRKpad_pg2.htm

They make ZERO noise and so far I haven't noticed any brake dust on the wheels. Not to mention the price was right. I just hope the rotors hold up over time. We'll see.

I use Oranges on my 930 on the track. Seem to work great. They do get a little noisy for me on the street so I flip back to stockers.

Good comments Bill, glad this thread was revived, as my pads are squeaky (not sure what the are), but I will have them changed to teh Metal Masters...

I have been using Metal Masters for many years, both on the street and at DE's. I changed to Pagid Orange's last month for a DE at Robling. My driving sucked, but the brakes were better than expected. I am extreemely pleased. A world of difference between the MM and the PO. Actually like them so much that I purchased a set for my 996 today.

Just thought I'd throw that in.
